CELLULITE TREATMENTS MESOTHERAPY & LIPODISSOLVE
Aesthetic medicine can slow down and reverse the cosmetic aging effect.
MESOTHERAPY IS A MINIMALLY INVASIVE PROCEDURE THAT USES MICROINJECTIONS OF NUTRIENTS, VITAMINS, ENZYMES AND COLLAGEN BUILDING
MINERALS.
MESOTHERAPY CAN HELP TO GIVE YOURFACE A MORE YOUTHFUL APPEARANCE BY TIGHTENING FACIAL SKIN OR CORRECTING SMALL WRINKLES.
MESOTHERAPY IS ALSO VERY EFFECTIVE IN REDUCING CELLULITE AND FAT IN PROBLEM AREAS SUCH AS THE BUTTOCKS, STOMACH, AND WAISTLINE.
Mesotherapies and Lipotherapies are non surgical techniques utilizing a series of injections of vitamins and FDA approved
medications which can reduce significantly fat deposits on the body. Areas treated are the chin, neck, upper arms, waist and
hips, buttocks, thighs, and areas with cellulite like the thighs and buttocks. Because these therapies have been utilized for
over 50 years in France for medical reasons such as sports injuries, arthritis and pain management and more recently for cosmetic
uses for toning the skin and reducing fat, the name Mesotherapy has become an all inclusive term.
Treatment
The client utilizing Mesotherapy or Liposculpt injections can expect to have an average of 8-10 treatments to maximize the
effect. Pain and discomfort is minimal. There are minimal side effects. Bruising which is temporary and lasts a few days is
the most common. We individually skin test all clients prior to use to make sure clients will have no allergic reactions.
The cosmetic effects can be dramatic with Mesotherapy and Liposuction. Certainly, safe compared to surgery.
Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy, has been used for 50 years in Europe where medications and vitamins are injected into the skin as therapy for
various conditions, i.e. pain, sports injuries, rheumatology, general medicine and aesthetic medicine. Aesthetically, it is
called Lipotherapy where it is used to treat cellulite and cosmetic fat reduction, i.e. face, arms, abdomen and legs.
The medications are FDA approved.
Mesotherapy for Cellulite
Cellulite is a skin condition affecting over 90% of most women and men. Those with a slim figure often complain about
cellulite's external visible symptoms: lumpy, dimpled, often discolored appearance. Cellulite can commonly appear on the hips,
buttocks and legs, but is not caused by being overweight, as many believe.
What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is a non-invasive procedure that involves injections into the mesoderm, the middle layer of skin, to stimulate the
removal of cellulite, wrinkles, excess fat, and sagging skin. The treatment involves localized injections of homeopathic and
traditional medications in addition to vitamins. Each injection offers freedom from more invasive treatments that require
anesthesia and surgery and helps the body to heal itself from the inside out.
Who is an ideal candidate for Mesotherapy?
Anyone seeking a treatment option for cellulite, wrinkles, excess fat and sagging skin is a potential candidate.
Anyone who is interested in removing these without the use of anesthesia or surgery should also consider Mesotherapy.
What areas of the body does Mesotherapy treat?
Mesotherapy can be used on various parts of the body. Most generally, treatments under the chin, arms, abdomen, buttocks,
thighs, and sagging skin in other areas may be treated. Wrinkles on the face may be treated and there are a number of other
areas that may be treated. Discussing what options are available with a trusted physician is always a great idea.
Are Mesotherapy treatments permanent?
As with any cosmetic treatment, there are limits to effectiveness over time. Age and the elements can affect all skin types
eventually, but Mesotherapy offers a way to help preserve the health within the skin over time, thus potentially helping to
prevent future skin damage. Of course when it comes to unwanted body fat, a healthy diet and lifestyle will determine whether
or not the treatments are long lasting.
How is the Mesotherapy treatment performed?
Mesotherapy injections are of course discussed with the patient and treatment areas are decided upon.
Injections into the mesoderm layer of the skin ensue and patients may feel a bit of heaviness or discomfort associated
with the treatment. Each patient's side effects differ however.
What is the recovery period like after Mesotherapy treatments?
There really is no "recovery period" with Mesotherapy other than the body working to alter its internal structures over time,
which ultimately affects the outward appearance of the skin, such as the removal of cellulite, excess fat, and a tightening of
skin, as examples. There may be minor discomfort associated with the injections, but there is nothing invasive to heal from.
How many treatments are necessary and when do I see results from Mesotherapy?
Results appear gradually over a matter of weeks to months. Since the changes are not invasive, the results will occur more
gradually and patients will notice that the results come after about 10-15 treatments. This number of course varies from patient
to patient and may be more or less depending on the area being treated.
Is Mesotherapy covered by health insurance providers?
Mesotherapy is considered to be a cosmetic procedure so most health insurance providers will not cover the treatment.
It is always a good idea to see what one's health insurance may cover and to speak with a dermatologist about what options
are available.
Is Mesotherapy approved by the FDA?
Since there are a number of ingredients used in Mesotherapy, FDA approval requires that those ingredients be approved for a
certain medical use prior to their being utilized. Researching the Mesotherapist and verifying their credentials as well as the
FDA approval of the ingredients in use is an important part of deciding which Mesotherapist to seek treatment with Women are
always very aware of their skin, and some women go to great lengths to make sure it stays looking as youthful and perfect as
possible. However, it is important to note that no matter how good the genetic background of a woman might be, she still might
end up with various cosmetic skin issues, such as cellulite and stretch marks.
It is important to note that both of those skin conditions are very common, and are easily treated with a procedure such as
mesotherapy. Many cosmetic procedures involve injecting the patient with a variety of different synthetic substances, substances
that the body can have an adverse reaction to. However, when it comes to mesotherapy, only natural nutrients, amino acids, and
enzymes are injected into the problem area.
Mesotherapy is a procedure that has been in use for some time now. Many patients prefer this procedure because it requires only
a topical anesthetic as opposed to general anesthesia. Since this procedure (which is most often used for body sculpting
(purposes) is so minimally invasive, it can be performed in a doctor's office or in an outpatient facility.
Many women are quite curious to know how a simple series of injections could actually get rid of cellulite that could not be
gotten rid of through lots of exercise. Cellulite is not something that actually occurs just in overweight people. There are
plenty of otherwise slim people who have this problem, and it is a recurring one. Simply put, the injections target the fat
cells, which are then converted into fuel for the body via the enzymes.
It is important to note that mesotherapy requires just more than one session in order for the patient to see results,
especially when it comes to cellulite. The reason for this is that no matter what, cellulite is a stubborn thing, and can come
back if it is not properly treated. Thus, the average amount of session a person should expect to have is around fifteen.
All of this having been said, it is very important to note that results will be seen from the third session onward, with each
session lasting, at most, around thirty minutes. Because of its efficiency time-wise, many people could actually have this
procedure done during their lunch hour, and then return back to work.
Obviously, before a person can have the procedure done, a doctor will have to be chosen, and a consultation will need to be set
up. During the consultation, the doctor will ask the patient a variety of different questions as to what has been done so far to
establish weight loss goals or perhaps get rid of cellulite.
Next, the doctor will make marks with a washable marker as to where the sites of the injections will be. These marks, once
applied, will be photographed as a reference point. Additionally, during the consultation the doctor will answer any additional
questions that the patient might have. As with any other procedure, the key to successful results is being properly informed.
